Children are the most beautiful creation from God. For that reason, I feel that they are the best example for us in being empathetic with others. Empathy refers to an understanding and sensitivity to another person's feelings. In my opinion I think that some children have empathy because they are born with that precious value. Also, because they follow examples from their parents or someone especial in their lives. I found an article that says that parents encourage empathy to their children by teaching them to say "I am sorry"
Do you know another reason why children are empathetic with others?
I would like to share with you some touching examples from my little friends (mis amiguitos) being empathetic with others. The picture that you see above is from my beautiful goddaughter. Gabrielita is a sweet girl who loves to give hugs and smiles especially when she sees little friends alone or sad. Her awesome brother Samuelito, loves helping his mom with chores around the house. Also, he enjoys a lot being a wonderful gentleman with people around him. Fionita is a sweet girl who encourages people to support children who suffer cancer in inspiration of one of her little preschool friends who passed away a year ago from that terrible disease. Her sister Elizita is a wonderful girl who suffers when people are having difficulties. She tries to act as soon as possible to serve and help them. My others amiguitos that made the valentine crafts, love helping their mom to organize the groceries when their mom gets home from the grocery store. I have also enjoyed seeing the oldest sister help her little brother and sister at bedtime.
